Hello, may I start by introducing myself -  my name is Paul Charlesworth and I own Corporate Archery Entertainment.


Please let me start by welcoming you to the web-site - I would like to invite you to partake in the sport that I have been involved with for over 25 years. The company started as a result of my passion for the sport and has been successfully growing ever since its conception over 12 years ago.

I pride myself (and all of  the coaches I have working for me) on both the commitment and quality to ensure a pleasurable archery experience during our time with you, whatever the size and location of the event whether its a major corporate event with hundreds of participants in the grounds of a stately home or a family fun day with just a few friends and relatives taking part within a relatively small environment.

I do try to involve myself with as many bookings as time allows - which has a two-fold purpose 1) I get to meet a lot of my customers personally 2) in the unlikely event that there is any difficulty I am already on-site to rectify the problem. As you can imagine being very busy does mean that I am limited to how many I can visit but you can rest assured that if you contact me directly that I will be prompt in my reply.

The team and I cater for all aspects of archery -  target; field; cross-bow*; etc. Over the years experience has taught us that the equipment preferred by first-time users is either the modern recurve for archery purposes and cross-bows fitted with telescopic sights. Therefore this is the equipment that will be used at your function, once personal preference / suitability has been determined, when you contact us.

*Strict cross-bow laws dictate that children under the age of 12 cannot use a proper cross-bow, therefore we carry Bandit cross-bows to cater for children from the age of 6years and above. The Bandits have a deep barrel which accept both Safety Darts / Bolts fitted with rubber suction cups & encased stems.

Corporate Archery Entertainment can tailor days and activities to suit your needs and locations. We are able to provide themed archery to suit - which are always popular -, whether you have personal preferences as to what you want, whether it's something with a sporting theme (like archery football), or  more of a fantasy approach suits the bill


(James Bond for instance). Even if you have your own idea please let us know - we can usually cater for them all!

Because we operate all over the UK and provide ALL of the equipment (from the shooting range through to finger tabs) nothing will be left to chance. We carry equipment so there will be something available to suit your strength and size.

Corporate Archery Entertainment has been looking after your archery needs for more than 12 years. We use only fully-trained & qualified archery coaches.

All of which are recognised & registered
with both ;
Grand National Archery Society (G.N.A.S.)
and Sports Coach UK (Sc UK).

Because safety is paramount all instruction and tuition is provided by our experienced archery coaches who ALL carry Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked to the ENHANCED LEVEL. We also ensure that they have FULL Public Liability insurance cover, as well as having extensive Health & Safety risk assessments in place which enables us to provide a very enjoyable experience with complete peace of mind, whatever the setting and however large the number of participants!

Here at Corporate Archery Entertainment we pride ourselves on our capabilities in order to cater for all your requirements. Whatever your fitness level and ability,  the sport of archery is a 'sport for all'  and all of our experienced coaches are able to tutor clients with varying disabilities along-side the more able bodied. In order to help us give you the correct advise please inform us (at the time of enquiry) of any special requests you have.

Corporate Archery Entertainment is a fully mobile operation - with a centrally located main office - that allows all our coaches ease of access to the whole of the UK. We also provide ALL of the equipment required for a completely safe and enjoyable activity for all age groups.

We can tailor a day's worth of activities to suit your needs and location – whether it’s set in the grounds of a stately home or even your own garden maybe! Corporate Archery Entertainment have the ability to give themed events (such as James Bond to the more obvious - Robin Hood). We are happy to work as part of a multiple activity day and archery is great for team building exercises; private parties and family fun day(s).

The bow

This contrivance of stick and sinew was man's first mechanical invention, enabling mankind to fight off predators at a distance and to hunt effectively.
Today we shoot at set targets on a dedicated range rather than at large predators or for hunting purposes, so why not try the traditional English sport of Archery?


 

 

The Target Archery Range

For this discipline, participants shoot at targets set 15 meters away, with a safety net placed behind the targets. Behind the shooting line a gazebo and seating are provided and range markings and warning signs are placed to ensure both your groups safety and any passers by.

 

 

 

 

The Crossbow Range

 

For this discipline, participants shoot at targets set 15 meters away, with a safety net placed behind the targets. Again behind the shooting line a gazebo and seating are provided and range markings and warning signs are placed to ensure both your groups safety and any passers by.

Please note that for crossbow events participants must be 12 years and above by law, although fun crossbows can be offered for junior archers under 12.
 

 

 

 

The Field Archery Range

This is simulated hunting, shooting at mixed range images of British game in its natural settings. This activity can ONLY be provided at appropriate venues, and such its viability is at the coaches discretion (for safety).
