2. An empty gun handling section, including crossing an obstacle
3. Prove that you can load and fire the gun safely at a clay target from a shooting cage.
What is Safe Shot ?
Safe Shot is a BASC award that recognises
your knowledge of shotgun safety and your
safe gun handling.
What it isn't.
Safe Shot is not a competence test.
How do I get it ?
To be awarded the Safe Shot badge you
Need to successfully complete three
Sections (see above).
What will it cost ?
About 20 minutes of your time and £5 - £10

will be offering shotgun coaching lessons within the confines of the Show Ground.
2010 is our 11th year at these Fairs and as normal
we will be offering Expert advice including FREE master eye tests and FREE gun fitting advice.
We can also offer the BASC Safe Shot Test
